How to sign up for a free trial

Sign up for a 7-day free trial to give Philo a spin before subscribing! All you need is one of our supported devices, and a high-speed internet connection.

You can cancel your trial anytime during your weeklong trial. Otherwise, you’ll be automatically subscribed to a paid Philo Core subscription once your trial ends.

We offer 7-day free trials of all of our add-ons, too!

Click your device below for instructions on how to sign up.

  • You can sign up on your Amazon Fire tablet with your email address or through your Amazon account.

    Email address

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Enter your email address.

    3. Open the link emailed to you.

    4. Tap the Confirm sign-up button.

    5. Tap Try for free.

    6. Tap Subscribe.

    7. If prompted, tap Use My Phone or Enter Account Password to confirm.

    8. Approve the notification.

    9. Tap Close, and you’re in!

    Amazon account

    1. Search for Philo in the Apps & Games row.

    2. Select Philo.

    3. Tap Start 1-week free trial & download app.

    4. Tap Start Free Trial.

    5. If prompted, tap Use My Phone or Enter Account Password to confirm.

    6. Approve the notification.

    7. Enable or disable Parental Controls.

    8. Tap Confirm, and you’re in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Amazon.

  • You can sign up on your Amazon Fire TV with your email address or through Amazon.

    Email address

    1. Search for Philo in the Apps & Games row.

    2. Select Philo.

    3. Click Download app only.

    4. Click Start your free trial.

    5. Enter your email address.

    6. Open the link emailed to you.

    7. Click the Confirm sign-up button.

    8. Click Try for free.

    9. Confirm the correct card is on file.

    10. Click Start 1 week free trial.

    11. If prompted, tap Use My Phone or Enter Account Password to confirm.

    12. Approve the notification.

    13. Enable or disable Parental Controls.

    14. Click Dismiss, and you’re in!

    Amazon account

    1. Search for Philo in the Apps & Games row.

    2. Select Philo.

    3. Click Start 1-week free trial & get app.

    4. Confirm the correct card is on file.

    5. Click Start 1 week free trial.

    6. If prompted, click Use My Phone or Enter Account Password to confirm.

    7. Approve the notification.

    8. Click Dismiss, and you're in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Amazon.

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Tap Start your free trial.

    3. Enter your email address.

    4. Tap the check box to agree to the Terms of Service.

    5. Tap Continue.

    6. Tap the link or enter the code emailed to you.

    7. Tap Start your 7-day free trial.

    8. Choose your subscription option and review your subscription and plan details.

    9. Select a payment method.

    10. Tap Subscribe.

    11. Enter your Google account PIN, password or fingerprint as prompted, and you’re in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Google.

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Click Start your free trial.

    3. Enter your email address.

    4. Open the link emailed to you.

    5. Click the Confirm sign-upbutton.

    6. Click Start your 7-day free trial.

    7. Choose your subscription option, and review your subscription and plan details.

    8. Select a payment method.

    9. Click Subscribe.

    10. Enter your Google account PIN or password (depending on your Google account settings), and you're in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Google.

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Click Start Your Free Trial.

    3. Enter your email address, and click Continue.

    4. Open the link emailed to you.

    5. Click the Sign up for Philo button.

    6. Click Subscribe In-App Purchase.

    7. If prompted to two-factor authentication, select Confirm with Apple Device or Confirm with Password then follow the on-screen prompts, and you’re in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Apple.

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Tap Start Your Free Trial.

    3. Enter your email address.

    4. Tap the check box to agree to the Terms of Service.

    5. Tap Continue.

    6. Tap the link or enter the code emailed to you.

    7. Tap Subscribe In-App Purchase.

    8. Tap Subscribe.

    9. If prompted, enter your Apple ID and password.

    10. Tap OK, and you're in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Apple.

    2. Click Start your 7-day free trial.

    3. Enter your email address.

    4. Check the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy checkbox and then click Continue.

    5. Click the link sent to your email, or enter the code instead.

    6. Check the Terms of Service checkbox, then enter your payment information.

    7. Click Start free trial, and you're in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Philo.

    Digital wallet

    If you’re paying with Apple Pay, make sure you’re using Safari and have Apple Pay enabled on your device.

    If you’re paying with Google Pay, make sure you’re using Chrome and have Google Pay enabled on your device. Google Pay won’t appear if you’re on Chrome on iOS 16 with Apple Pay enabled, or in Incognito mode.

  • You can either sign up with a QR code or TV code on your LG TV.

    QR code

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Click Start your free trial.

    3. Scan the QR code with your mobile device, and tap the link.

    4. Enter your email address.

    5. Check the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy checkbox and then click Continue.

    6. Enter the code sent to your email address.

    7. Check the subscription agreement checkbox, then enter your payment information.

    8. Click Start free trial, and you're in!

    TV code

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Click Start your free trial.

    3. Visit philo.tv/go/activate on your mobile device or computer.

    4. Enter the code displayed on your TV.

    5. Click Get Started.

    6. Enter your email address and then select Continue.

    7. Enter the code sent to your email address.

    8. Enter your payment information.

    9. Select Start free trial, and you’re in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Philo.

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Click Start your free trial.

    3. Enter your email address and then click Submit.

    4. Open the link emailed to you.

    5. Tap the Confirm sign-upbutton.

    6. Click Subscribe with Roku Pay and then enter your Roku PIN, and you’re in!

    If you don’t cancel your subscription before your trial ends, you’ll be billed directly by Roku.

  • You can either sign up with a QR code or TV code on your Samsung TV.

    QR code

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Click Start your free trial.

    3. Scan the QR code with your mobile device, and tap the link.

    4. Enter your email address.

    5. Check the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy checkbox and then click Continue.

    6. Enter the code sent to your email address.

    7. Check the subscription agreement checkbox, then enter your payment information.

    8. Click Start free trial, and you're in!

    TV code

    1. Download and open the Philo app.

    2. Click Start your free trial.

    3. Visit philo.tv/go/activate on your mobile device or computer.

    4. Enter the code displayed on your TV.

    5. Click Get Started.

    6. Enter your email address and then select Continue.

    7. Enter the code sent to your email address.

    8. Enter your payment information.

    9. Select Start free trial, and you’re in!
