What does Philo Core include?
Philo Core includes all the (Link opens in a new tab)channels you know and love, plus tons of additional ad-supported content from AMC+. (Link opens in a new tab)AMC+ gives you access to IFC Films Unlimited and Sundance Now, along with (Link opens in a new tab)The Walking Dead Channel and (Link opens in a new tab)Shudder. If you’d rather enjoy AMC+ without the ads, you can upgrade to our (Link opens in a new tab)AMC+ ad-free add-on for an additional $4 per month.
How do I sign up for Philo Core?

How do I upgrade to Philo Core?
Your current billing provider will determine how you can upgrade to Philo Core.
Keep in mind, once you upgrade to Philo Core you won’t be able to return to your previous plan or price.
Philo billing
If you’re a Philo-billed customer, you can upgrade to Philo Core on our website:
Go your (Link opens in a new tab)Account page
Click Manage Plan.
Select Philo Core (you’ll also have the option to add the (Link opens in a new tab)AMC+ ad-free add-on).
Click Continue.
Verify your billing information.
Click Submit.
Roku billing
If you’re a Roku-billed customer, you can upgrade to Philo Core in-app on Roku using RokuPay:
Open the Philo app on your Roku.
Go to the Settings icon in the top right of the screen.
Select Upgrade in the lower left of the screen.
Click Subscribe with Roku Pay.
If you’re a Roku-billed customer, you’ll see the option to upgrade to Philo Core if you search for AMC+ content.
If you want the (Link opens in a new tab)AMC+ ad-free add-on, you’ll have to (Link opens in a new tab)switch to Philo billing.
Apple billing
Apple TV
If you’re an Apple-billed customer on Apple TV, you can upgrade to Philo Core in your in-app Settings:
Open the Philo app on your Apple TV.
Go to the Settings icon in the top right of the screen.
Select Upgrade in the lower left corner of the screen.
Click Upgrade with in-app purchase.
If you’re an Apple-billed customer on Apple TV, you’ll also see the option to upgrade to Philo Core if you search for AMC+ content.
iOS
If you’re an Apple-billed customer on iOS, you’ll see the option to upgrade to Philo Core if you search for AMC+ content.
If you want the the (Link opens in a new tab)AMC+ ad-free add-on, you’ll have to (Link opens in a new tab)switch to Philo billing.
Amazon billing
If you’re an Amazon-billed customer, you’ll have to (Link opens in a new tab)switch to Philo billing to upgrade to Philo Core.
Google billing
If you’re a Google-billed customer, you’ll have to (Link opens in a new tab)switch to Philo billing to upgrade to Philo Core.
Can I keep my Legacy subscription?
If you’re a Legacy customer who started your Philo subscription before June 12, 2024, the choice to upgrade to Philo Core is entirely up to you. We won’t make any changes to your subscription unless you want to upgrade. You can keep your current plan, at its current price, as long as your subscription remains active. However, once you upgrade to Philo Core you won’t be able to return to your Legacy plan or price.
