Due to certain legislation, customers under 18 (or whose age is unknown) who attempt to access Philo may encounter an error message that reads: “Sorry, you do not meet the age requirement to use this app. Due to legal restrictions, this app is currently unavailable to minors.”
As of January 1, 2026, nationwide, customers under 18 who attempt to access Philo on an iOS device will be unable to use the app.
Troubleshooting
If you’re a parent or guardian whose child had an existing paid Philo subscription that they can no longer access, contact our (Link opens in a new tab)Support team.
If you encounter the age restriction error message but are over 18, contact the App Store for assistance verifying your age.
