Internet speed recommendations

Philo's (Link opens in a new tab)video quality adjusts based on your available bandwidth (the maximum amount of data that can be transmitted over your internet connection in a given amount of time).

Philo should work under the following conditions:

13 Mbps – Best for reliable HD streaming, even with multiple streams or other devices using the same network.

7 Mbps – Best for streaming one HD video. If multiple devices are streaming or using the network at the same time, there may be buffering issues.

3 Mbps  – Best for streaming SD quality video.

If you’re experiencing buffering issues, see (Link opens in a new tab)How to avoid and resolve buffering issues.

Also, please note the following:

  • Watching multiple videos or using the internet for other activities requires additional bandwidth. If you're trying to improve the stream quality, reduce your other streaming activities (for example, music or gaming) to free up more bandwidth.

  • Using a cell phone to stream Philo, especially while moving between different locations, may result in buffering issues.
