Upcoming: $4 monthly surcharge for Amazon-billed customers

As of May 12, 2025, all customers who are subscribed to Philo through Amazon will have a $4 monthly surcharge added to their subscription.

Existing customers

If you’re subscribed to Philo through Amazon, you can expect to see that surcharge on your first bill after May 12, 2025.

But not to worry! You can easily keep your current price if you switch to Philo billing.

How to switch to Philo billing

1. Visit your (Link opens in a new tab)Account page online.

2. Click Switch to Philo billing.

   

3. Click I understand to confirm.

   

4. Select your subscription including add-ons, and click Continue.

5. Enter and submit your payment information.

From there, you’ll just need to cancel your Amazon-billed subscription by following the steps below.

How to cancel your Amazon-billed subscription

1. Go to (Link opens in a new tab)amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions.

2. On the Actions drop-down list for your Philo subscription, select Turn off auto-renewal.

3. Click Turn off auto-renewal to confirm.

The changes will take effect after your current billing cycle completes.

New customers

If you’re a brand new Philo customer who signs up for Philo with Amazon billing after May 12, 2025, you’ll automatically be charged $32 for your Philo Core subscription.
