If you are unable to open Philo – instead it begins to load and then crashes, the first thing to check for is a pending Fire TV device update:

1. Click the Home button on your Fire TV remote.

2. Click the settings icon.

3. Click Device & Software.

4. Click About.

5. Click Install System Update.

Finish off by restarting the device: go back to the Device & Software screen and click Restart.
