About Unlimited DVR

Our free Unlimited DVR feature lets you record your favorite Philo content with the click of a button — no physical DVR equipment needed! You can save anything currently airing or scheduled to air on Philo and we'll make it available to you for a year, at no extra cost (Legacy subscribers can learn about upgrading to Philo with Unlimited 1-year DVR here). Best of all? With DVR recordings, you can fast forward and rewind to your [object Object]'s content.

How to save a show to DVR

You can save and unsave shows on the show tiles on the Home page, the Guide, or beneath the episode description on the Show Profile.

  1. Select [object Object] to start recording a show.

  2. Select [object Object] to stop recording a show.

After you save a show, Philo will automatically record episodes that air from that point onwards and store them for a year. (Please note, if you're on a legacy Philo plan, episodes will be saved for 30 days. Learn about upgrading to Philo with Unlimited 1-year DVR here).

See your saved shows

There’s a dedicated section in the Philo app for your saved shows and DVR recordings:

  1. Select Saved on the top menu bar.

  2. Select a show to see all the playable and upcoming episodes. You can also view the show's list of seasons and then select the Recordings option to view DVR recordings only. (These recordings are marked with the [object Object] tag).

How to remove a saved show

When you save a show, all future airings are recorded, no matter whether they're new or reruns. You can remove shows you’ve already recorded by clicking Saved on the show tile (you can find those show tiles on the Home page, the Guide, or beneath the episode description on the Show Profile). Keep in mind, this will remove the entire saved show. There isn’t currently an option to remove individual episodes from a saved show.
